This is an aluminum lunch box from the Showa period.

Its shabby appearance, full of scratches and dents, conversely gives it a strong presence. The sense of loneliness and solitude felt from this lunch box is perhaps the greatest appeal of old tools that have been left behind and forgotten by their owners. You can put sewing tools or stationery in it, or because it is very light, you can put small tools in it when you climb a mountain, or store flies and lures when you go fishing in a canyon. Thinking about how to use it is a very meaningful and enjoyable time.
