Mask of a Karasu-tengu(crow-billed goblin mask)
This papier-mache mask of a Karasu-tengu is thought to have been made in the Showa period. Karasu-tengu are a tribe of deities who are dressed as mountain priests, have a face with a beak like a raven's and are said to be able to fly freely.
