Stone Dish - Seto ware
This stone plate was made in the Seto region, famous for its pottery, during the Edo period.
It has a solid presence, and the fine penetration on the surface of the glaze is very beautiful. It is a valuable piece that shows the flavor of age. Slightly deep and shaped between a bowl and a plate. It can be used for soupy dishes.
 
石皿 瀬戸
古格を感じるきめ細かい貫入がとても美しい石皿。通常の黄釉のものと比べて、やや深みを感じられる肌の色。少し珍しいのは、やや深さがあり、鉢とお皿の間のような形状。汁気のあるものも、余裕をもって盛り付けることができます。
