Rather than being plump or rounded, it has a relatively thin construction, with a form that tapers gracefully toward the base, creating a sense of tension and refinement. About half of the surface is covered with barnacles, resulting in a richly varied and dynamic appearance. The chipped rim has just the right amount of sharpness, contributing to its overall crisp and striking impression. While it can of course be used for displaying flowers, we also encourage you to enjoy it as an unconventional "kensui" (a waste-water vessel used in Chinese tea ceremonies), adding a unique touch to your tea setting.
